The 6-foot-3, 216-pound winger had a huge season in 2024-25: 49 goals and 70 a sists (119 points) in 64 games. He had put up 90 points the year before in 64 games. This season, Greentree has played 34 games and has 23 goals and 22 a sists for 45 points. Greentree did suit up for Canada at the World Juniors earlier this year. The Rangers won't rush him, but it seems like he'll probably get a crack at the NHL sooner rather than later to begin his ascent toward being a quality return in the Panarin deal.
